We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in promoting oral health by performing cleanings, screenings, and preventive care in accordance with state dental practice laws.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome and prepare patients for dental hygiene treatment.
• Perform dental prophylaxis by cleaning deposits and stains from teeth and beneath gum margins.
• Conduct oral cancer screenings and assess for periodontal disease and other oral health conditions.
• Expose, develop, and interpret radiographs.
• Apply fluoride and other decay-preventing agents.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene, plaque control, and postoperative care.
• Assist the dentist in managing dental and medical emergencies; maintain CPR certification and emergency readiness.
• Record vital signs, medical and dental histories, and treatment information accurately in patient records.
• Maintain dental equipment by performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting minor issues.
• Monitor and manage dental supply inventory.
• Stay current with dental hygiene best practices by attending continuing education courses and professional workshops.

Requirements:

• License/Certification: Registered Dental Hygienist (Required).
• New graduates welcome to apply.
• Knowledge of dental hygiene techniques, infection control, and preventive care.
• Strong communication and patient education skills.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to recommend appropriate dental hygiene products and support patient compliance.
