Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Location: Across NM State

Type: Travel Contract

Position Summary

We are hiring an experienced Travel LPN to support patient care needs across New Mexico’s healthcare sites. Assignments may involve skilled nursing centers, rehab programs, outpatient clinics, long-term care facilities, or acute-care units. The right candidate is compassionate, flexible, and committed to delivering dependable nursing support in diverse clinical settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide routine nursing care as delegated by supervising RNs and physicians
• Track and document vital signs, symptoms, and patient conditions
• Give medications, injections, and therapeutic treatments safely
• Manage wound care and assist with lab specimen preparation
• Provide mobility, hygiene, and daily living support to patients
• Maintain precise and timely EMR documentation
• Engage collaboratively with staff, patients, and families
• Follow all state and facility regulations and safety standards
• Travel statewide to meet assignment needs

Required Qualifications

• Valid NM LPN license (or eligibility)
• 1+ year of recent LPN experience (LTC, SNF, acute, rehab, clinic)
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Proficiency with EMR systems and quick adaptation skills
• Strong communication and dependable clinical performance

Preferred Qualifications

• Multi-facility or travel experience
• Background in a variety of clinical settings
• Ability to operate independently
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred
