Position Overview

Walker White Mechanical is seeking a dependable and skilled Sheet Metal Mechanic to support our expanding operations. This role plays a critical part in the fabrication, installation, and maintenance of sheet metal systems on commercial and industrial job sites. The ideal candidate takes pride in precision work, follows safety standards, and contributes positively to team success.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate, install, and maintain sheet metal systems for commercial and industrial projects
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job specifications
• Use hand and power tools to cut, bend, form, and assemble sheet metal
• Ensure all work complies with applicable safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards
• Collaborate with project managers and crew members to meet project schedules
• Perform inspections and routine maintenance as required
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sheet Metal Mechanic in commercial or industrial construction
• Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication and installation methods
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Familiarity with HVAC and mechanical systems preferred
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• OSHA certification preferred
