Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery Travel Position Location: Granbury, TX Job Type: Travel Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12s Nights Pay: $2,050.20/week (plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts) Job Description We are seeking a skilled Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join a healthcare facility in Granbury, TX on a 13-week travel assignment. The RN will provide compassionate and comprehensive care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery. The ideal candidate is experienced in obstetric nursing, adaptable in fast-paced environments, and committed to patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and recovery.
• Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs, contractions, and overall labor progression.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered, including epidurals and oxytocin.
• Assist physicians and midwives during deliveries and obstetric emergencies.
• Educate mothers and families on labor processes, postpartum care, and newborn care.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record.
• Maintain adherence to infection control protocols, safety guidelines, and best practices in labor and delivery care.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license in Texas (or compact eligibility).
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent labor and delivery nursing experience in an acute care setting.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); ACLS preferred.
• Strong assessment, communication, and clinical decision-making skills.
• Compassionate and adaptable approach to patient care.
• COVID-19 vaccine and recent tuberculosis test.
