Description of the Role:
As a Parts Manager at Freedom Ford South located in Fairfield, TX, you will be responsible for overseeing the parts department, managing inventory, and ensuring timely delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Manage parts inventory and ensure proper stocking levels.
- Supervise parts department staff and assign tasks accordingly.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to maintain good relationships and optimize costs.
- Process orders, handle returns, and maintain accurate records.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any parts-related issues.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a parts management role preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Knowledge of automotive parts and industry trends.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented and able to analyze data to make informed decisions.
Benefits:
We offer competitive compensation ranging from $40,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year, based on experience. In addition, you will have access to a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Parts Manager Responsibilities:
*
Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish
*
Work with parts counter person and technicians to locate any parts not in stock
*
Complete special order part request for the customer
*
Communicate with customer on parts status
*
Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner
*
Must follow all company safety policies and procedures
*
Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations applicable to industry
Parts Manager Requirements:
*
Previous experience at a Ford dealership is a plus
*
Ability to identify the problem quickly
*
Knowledge of automobiles
*
Effective analytical and communication skills
*
Strong reading, computer, and mathematics skills
*
Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
*
Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time
*
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Basic computer skills
*
Positive, friendly attitude

High school diploma or equivalent
*
Experience with auto parts sales (preferred)
