**About the job you're considering** The SAP Archiving / Basis Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing SAP archiving strategies, managing SAP Basis administration, and ensuring optimal system performance and compliance. This role requires deep expertise in SAP system architecture, data archiving, and technical leadership for large-scale SAP landscapes. **Your role:** · Define and implement SAP archiving strategies for structured and unstructured data. Design SAP Basis architecture for high availability, scalability, and performance. · Manage SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, CRM) including installation, upgrades, and migrations. Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning. · Implement SAP Data Archiving solutions using SAP ILM (Information Lifecycle Management). · Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory data retention requirements. · Integrate archiving solutions with storage systems and third-party tools. Implement security standards and manage user roles and authorizations. · Resolve complex Basis and archiving issues. · Optimize system performance and reduce database footprint through effective archiving. · Collaborate with business and IT teams to define archiving policies · Provide technical leadership and mentor Basis administrators. **Your skills and experience:** · Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Experience · 15 years professional experience - focused in SAP Basis administration and architecture. · Extensive experience in SAP Data Archiving and ILM. · Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, ECC, BW, and integration technologies. · Expertise in SAP Basis, HANA DB administration, and performance tuning. · Knowledge of storage systems, backup/recovery strategies, and archiving tools. · Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. · Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. · SAP Certifications preferred **Life at Capgemini** Capgemini supports all aspects of your well-being throughout the changing stages of your life and career.
