Job Description

Our client, a successful real estate development, investment and asset management company, with a proven track record of creating large scale, best-in-class multi-phase development projects across Canada and the United States, is looking to hire a Legal Counsel, reporting to the General Counsel.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of strong commercial real estate experience, particularly in condominium-related matters. Experience in construction, financing, and/or other related areas would be a significant asset, as the role involves supporting a broad range of legal issues and coordination across multiple departments.

Responsibilities will include assisting and supporting the Company's development teams (ie. planning and re-zoning, condominium processes, municipal processes, construction, permitting, condominium sales and marketing material, condo registration and closing processes, Tarion, purchase and sale agreements, etc.), and assisting and liaising with external counsel on various transactions (ie. financings, acquisitions, dispositions, corporate maintenance, HR matters, compliance, etc.).

This excellent opportunity offers a hybrid work arrangement of 4 days in office and one day remote.
