Salary: $42,600 - 44,260 per year Requirements:

• Understanding of youth recreation programs, along with program planning and development skills.
• Strong service orientation and decision-making capabilities, combining critical thinking with innovative problem-solving.
• Ability to work effectively within diverse organizational structures.
• Client-focused with an entrepreneurial mindset and creative approach.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications.
• Knowledge of campus policies and the ability to learn them quickly.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience/training.

• Ensure campers safety and supervision while managing risks and engaging in downtime activities.
• Develop positive relationships with campers, identifying and supporting their individual needs for growth.
• Encourage campers to explore their limits and enhance their skills in a nurturing environment.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and manage transitions between activities.
• Safely accompany campers between locations, monitoring them during breaks to ensure their well-being.
• Assist campers with personal items, hydration, and environmental responsibility.
• Facilitate problem-solving and conflict resolution, empowering campers to make decisions.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff members, providing constructive feedback.
• Inspire enthusiasm and teamwork in campers and staff members during activities.
• Lead structured, age-appropriate lessons and submit detailed lesson plans.
• Conduct engaging classes with a variety of creative activities to maximize participation.
• Provide specialized instruction in various activities for children aged 5-14.
• Engage actively with campers to create a supportive and inclusive atmosphere.
• Incorporate camp values and life skills into lessons meaningfully.
• Organize and maintain all materials and equipment effectively.
• Complete required paperwork, including documentation and reports, promptly.
• Conduct daily safety checks in activity areas and report issues swiftly.
• Assist with camper check-in and check-out procedures.
• Promote camp traditions and friendships among campers.
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute ideas for camp improvement.
• Support staffing needs across different camp programs as directed.
