Job Description
We’re seeking a Financial Planning Analyst who is analytical, detail-oriented, and collaborative, with a passion for turning data into strategic insight. This individual will play a key role in supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting while partnering closely with business leaders across the organization. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, and can translate complex financial information into clear, actionable recommendations that drive business performance at the Daily Wire.
Primary Responsibilities - Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing financial insights and recommendations that drive strategic and operational decisions
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align financial plans with business objectives and translate financial results into actionable insights
- Support annual budgeting and rolling forecasting processes across departments, developing and maintaining financial models to evaluate initiatives and investments
- Monitor performance against plans, analyze key variances, and present findings with clear recommendations for improvement
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, dashboards, and presentations highlighting performance trends, risks, and growth opportunities
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess progress toward company and departmental goals
- Collaborate with finance leadership to enhance forecasting, reporting, and planning tools, streamlining processes for greater efficiency and accuracy
- Contribute to building scalable FP&A systems and best practices to support the company’s continued growth
Experience & Requirements - 2-4 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or consulting. A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is a plus
- Strong financial modeling, Excel, and data analysis skills.
- Proficiency with planning/reporting systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to partner effectively across teams
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment
