Field Service Engineer

AirTrim is seeking a Field Service Engineer for a modern design, sales and manufacturing company located in New Carlisle, Ohio. We want a creative person who likes working in a team environment and enjoys helping grow a company.

A Field Service Engineer is a professional who works to install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot pneumatic trim removal systems ensuring their proper functioning by conducting inspections and resolving technical issues that arise during operations, often requiring a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a field environment.

AirTrim will train a successful candidate with the specific skills needed to excel in this position.

Job Focus

Responsibilities of a Field Service Engineer include:

• Installing new equipment
• Pre-quote measure ups and system troubleshooting
• Monitoring system performance
• Sales support

Skills required for Field Service Engineer role:

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Enjoys travel within United Sates and Canada
• 2 yr/ 4 yr mechanical engineering degree preferred
• Ability to read, hear, write and speak English.
• Honesty

Physical Requirements

• Strength and stamina sufficient to maintain rigorous work schedule, requiring continuous physical exertion
• Excellent ability to read, hear, write and speak English.
• Excellent eyesight with the ability to see equipment
• Lifting or standing for extended period
• Dexterity of hands to operate forklift, cranes and autos
• Ability of kneeling, bending at the waist, and reaching overhead, above the shoulders, and horizontally load and unload equipment
• Ability to climb ladders
• Ability to pass medical physical including a full drug screen.
