Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is growing, and our Somerset, NJ Environmental Department is looking for a motivated Environmental Scientist to join our team. Whether you're a recent graduate or an emerging professional with a few years of experience, this is your chance to gain hands-on fieldwork, expand your technical skills, and grow with a respected environmental consulting firm.

Environmental Scientist Responsibilities:

• Conduct and prepare Phase I Environmental Site Assessments for residential and commercial projects

• Collect soil, soil gas, indoor air (vapor intrusion), and groundwater samples

• Analyze and evaluate environmental data

• Assist with writing clear, accurate technical reports and deliverables

Environmental Scientist Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or related field (preferred)

• Familiarity with NJDEP regulations and technical guidance (preferred)

• Strong writing, proofreading, and interpersonal communication skills

• GIS experience (a plus, but not required)

• Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented
