Your mission

• Lead the team responsible for developing and maintaining CoinTracker’s tax computation engine, that powers both Consumer and Enterprise products.

• Build the most performant, accurate, and compliant cryptocurrency tax engine in the industry.

Your one year outcomes

• CoinTracker has the most accurate tax computation engine in the industry

• The tax engine can process tens of millions of transactions with 99% reliability and 100% accuracy

• Tax engine is fully compliant with tax regulations and well setup for future regulations

What you will do

• Scale the tax computation engine to efficiently handle millions of transactions.

• Develop an auditing and proof-of-work solution, enabling users to trace the origin of their cost basis for any transaction.

• Build a robust rule engines that handles existing/new tax and regulatory changes in any country.

• Solve database scalability challenges to support growing demands and complexity.

• 8+ years of software development experience.

• 3+ years of engineering management experience, leading backend teams.

• Experience building strong technical teams that balance operational excellence, collaboration and user needs.

• Skilled at collaborating with stakeholders and driving execution across team and organizational boundaries.

• Thrives in ambiguous situations, effectively balancing trade-offs to deliver high-impact outcomes.
