Certified Pharmacy Technician
Job Description
As a Certified Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the pharmacist in an ambulatory setting. Your responsibilities will include entering and filling prescriptions, managing will call tasks, and providing essential pharmacy services.
Responsibilities
Enter and fill prescriptions accurately.
Handle prior authorizations efficiently.
Provide distributive pharmacy services and support for the pharmacist.
Prepare prescription orders for patient dispensing.
Maintain and manage pharmacy inventory effectively.
Assist with extemporaneous and bulk compounding of prescriptions and over-the-counter items.
Monitor reorder points and restock prescription and non-prescription areas.
Remove expiring products from inventory.
Essential Skills
Pharmacy technician certification (CPhT).
Proficiency in order entry and data entry.
Experience with pharmacy benefits management.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to work independently.
Proficient with computer systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in retail pharmacy settings.
Ability to handle prior authorizations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment
The position is located in a pharmacy in Avon.

This is a Contract position based out of Avon, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
