Summary

Montessori Country School a small family community among staff and families who is celebrating 50 years in business in the Herndon, Virginia area. We are currently looking for two dynamic toddler assistant teachers who preferably have experience working in a Montessori school. There are two positions 1, is 8 to 2 the other one is 8:00 to 4 or 4:30. Work alongside our Montessori trained lead teacher in helping our littles ones develop, learn independence and have fun.

There is also the potential for a primary assistant as well, hours most likely would be part time, perfect for a stay at home mom whose kids are in school during the day.

Duties

Help take care of the children in the classroom
follow the leads direction
change diapers/ help with potty training
supervisor snack and lunch time

Requirements

A love for children
2 years experience working with young children, preferably in a Montessori school
Background checks
High school diploma
TB screening
references that can attest to your experience working with young children
